House Teams

The school runs a House system; the four houses each have a colour blue, green, red and yellow.  On entry to Reception, each child is assigned a house (the same as an older sibling if applicable) and remains a member of this house throughout their years at Thomas Gray Primary.

House points are awarded in class for effort, attitude and achievement and for competitions run at various points during the year, e.g. Sports Day.  The house system fosters good relationships between children in different year groups and encourages a sense of working together.

Each year, boy and girl House Captains are selected from among the Year 6 pupils
